Park (visiting): Wednesday – Sunday | 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Café Știrbey: Wednesday – Sunday | 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Știrbey Palace Restaurant: Thursday – Sunday | 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM

 

Is there an admission fee for the park?

Yes. Admission ticket: 35 lei/person.

Tickets can be purchased at the entrance or online via the website.

Bonus: the ticket price can be used on the same day at the Știrbey Palace Restaurant or Café Știrbey.

 

 Do children need a ticket?

Children up to 6 years old: free admission

High school and college students: reduced-price ticket – 20 lei (with valid ID)

 

Is a reservation required to visit the park?

No. No reservation is required to visit the park.

How do I get there from Bucharest by public transportation?

Option 1: Metro + STB 436

1. Take the metro to Străulești station
2. Take the STB 436 bus to Buftea (regional line, terminating at/from Străulești station).
3. Get off at Buftea and walk to the entrance.

Option 2: Train to Buftea + walking/bus/taxi

1. Take the train from Bucharest North Station to Buftea (check the appropriate schedule on the day of departure).
2. From Buftea Station: walk, take the bus, or use a local taxi or rideshare service, as you prefer.

 

Is there parking? What are the costs?

Yes. The estate has approximately 300 parking lots, subject to availability.

Rate: 8 lei/hour.

Where can I eat?

At the Știrbey Palace Restaurant or Café Știrbey, during operating hours.

 

Can I bring in outside food or drinks?

No, outside food is not permitted. Food and drinks can be purchased on-site (at the Știrbey Palace Restaurant and Café Știrbey) with your admission ticket.

 

Is picnicking allowed in the park?

Yes, in designated areas. You can also order a picnic box from the Palace Restaurant, upon prior request.

Barbecues are not allowed.

 

Can I bring my dog to the park?

Yes. Dogs are allowed, provided they are kept on a leash and you follow the cleanliness rules.

 

Is bicycle access permitted?

Yes, bicycle access is permitted at no additional cost.

 

Is the estate accessible to strollers and people with limited mobility?

Yes. The estate is accessible to people with limited mobility, as are all event pavilions.
